I am interested in live steam, both in model and full size. I am currently building a model of a Burrell Agricultural engine in 4 1/2" scale. When finished this will be over 5 feet long and weigh about half a ton.

Last year I had the good fortune to have a ride in a full size replica of an 1899 Stanley Steam Car.

This year I helped at a boiler testing session which lasted for two days. This picture shows me hard at work - watching the steam pressure rise !!
